After an hour and a half of screeching, wailing and much knashing of teeth, she finally wore out and I was able to go in and say bedtime prayers.
Oh, my ears are ringing. If she isn't a first soprano, I'll eat my hat. I think I'm going to put in Pride & Prejudice (because the music is soft and pretty) and work on going to sleep.
My first had a will of iron! At nearly 3 she went through a stage where she would scream at bedtime. For an hour. There was nothing left to be done, so Husband and I would just retreat to the other side of our very small house and blast our music....loud, to drown her out.

That IS encouraging. She is such a great kid - there are moments, though when I want to pull my hair out. *laugh*
