warning: uber-dork post

This game is SO stinkin' fun!  :)  I've been waiting for it since Christmas, when they announced a March-April release...  puh-shaw - it released last week sometime...

Oh well - it's still fun and defintely was worth the wait.  I'm remembering all kinds of things from the books and that's helping get through the levels without any walkthroughs...  (yes, really)  It made me even more excited about the November release of Year 7: Part 1.  WHEEE!!!  Bring on the midnight showing - yes, I will be there.  Nana, please plan to have the girls.

Coach even gave it a spin and, even though he experienced some technical difficulties late last night (or very early this morning, as it were), I think he likes it too...

Munchkin called this morning from Jersey and said her dad read on facebook that I got the harry potter game and she wants to play it once she gets home...  *laugh*

My Dork Empire is nearly complete!  Now, if we can raise the Stowaway to the Dork-side, we'll be masters of our very own Dork-iverse...

Mommy is bringing me a double-decker taco - I'm hungry already!  I can't believe it - I ate a BIG bowl of Lucky Charms (M's favorite cereal) this morning.  Must bring snacks.

Ok, back to work.

  1. You crack me up!!! I didn't know you were even into video games. I might have to go buy this one so I can lure Ean into doing something with me. :)

  2. OH yes, I LOVE video games. The PS2, PS3 and Wii are all Mommy's toys (even though they are in the "family" room). Ratchet & Clank, Sly Cooper, all the Lego games and, of course, the old Mario Bros games... LOL

Coach even said to me the other day, "I'm glad I married a girl who doesn't hate video games." Ah, thanks, honey. :)

  3. Our PS2 is on it's last brink and I am going to get the kids a new system for Christmas this year. Which one do you like the best? The PS2 or 3? Wii is out of the question b/c the cost for games is too much for our budget. Unless I get a job to fund "fun" and I'm not working so that the kids can sit in front of a video gaming system. :) haha

  4. Wii, XBox and PS3 games all run around $50 brand new. Here's the skinny. Don't buy brand-new. Sign up for something like gamefly.com and rent them to try them out. THen, if the kids like them, buy them used on amazon.com (for WAY cheap). We have a PS2 but haven't bought a new game for it in a very long time. I have a PS3 and the graphics are amazing. I also have a Wii and Munchkin plays it more than the PS3 (the PS3 games are a little too hard). There are LOTS of fun games for kids and family on the Wii and I think it's a better gaming system for kids.
