How Do They Do That??

I was staring out my bedroom window and this squirrel was just FROZEN, with a pecan in his mouth, from the big tree. I had to wonder; how do they do that?? And why, on Earth, was he just frozen there like that?? Did he smell a cat?? Just too cool. Who taught him how to do that? Where was he going?

Anyway, just thought I'd post that because it struck me as funny. *grin*

  1. Hihi! I've often wondered how squirrels do that too. We have about six or seven that live in or visit our garden and they're amazing. They hang upside down on the bird feeders with their feet and eat with their hands. I've seen programmes about them and they're very intelligent animals.

I have a pet squirrel, which is a bit strange. She's only a baby, we think her mum had a very late litter and abandoned them. But we found Squidge (hehe) and she's such a friendly, inquisitive little thing. Her hands and feet are huge though, she's so out of proportion at the moment, bless her.

Anyway yes, my point was that I have no idea how squirrels do that! Strength and agility must be huge factors. I can't believe some people think they're vermin. Poor squidgers.
